Description
The Milan 1996-97 home shirt is the last of the great Lotto stripes — the kit Baggio, Weah, Boban, Savićević and Maldini wore through the season that ended the club’s 90s dynasty. This retro reissue brings back the red-and-black body, the Lotto detailing and the Opel sponsor as they looked at San Siro that year.
Milan 1996-97 home shirt — why collectors want it
The mid-90s Lotto home shirts are among the most wearable Milan kits ever made: narrow stripes, a neat collar and none of the busy graphics that crept in later. The 1996–97 version is the one that closes the Lotto chapter before the switch to Adidas, which makes it a natural bookend for anyone who already owns the 1993–94 shirt. The season it belongs to
Capello left for Madrid in the summer of 1996 and Milan cycled through Óscar Tabárez and a returning Arrigo Sacchi. Even with Baggio, Weah, Dugarry and Davids in the squad, the reigning champions finished eleventh. It was a strange, star-heavy season — and for fans who grew up on the Dutch trio and the Invincibili, this shirt is the last link to that era before the rebuild.

Shirts are replicas and not official football jerseys, however after purchasing a second shirt from this website and realising they were replicas & not being impressed with the quality, I emailed the company. The company dealt with this great and apologised for the confusion on the authenticity of the shirts and offered to send me a free shirt of my choice. I think perhaps the website should be clearer that the shirts are not real as I wouldn’t have paid what I did for the previous two, however I must say the customer service was great. They replied fast and exactly 2 weeks later I received the free shirt I chose, hence why I’ve left a 4 star review :)

I ordered a shirt which turned out to be the wrong size, I enquired to request an exchange to the next size up, I received a quick response from Jon who said he'll send out the new size at no extra cost, he also said I could keep the original shirt or give it to charity without needed to send back.
I felt this was a very kind gesture which I didn't ask for, and they didn't need to do.
